Per. 6B - Beginning Spanish - Test on Friday
Students in the yearlong Spanish class will have a test on Friday, March 26th on the vocabulary list from Capítulo 3A and conjugation/use of the verbs "comer," "beber," "gustar," and "encantar." See the files for a list of the vocabulary or use p. 144 in your textbook. Review the grammar on p. 132 and p. 135.

Upcoming Test - Intro to Spanish
Students in "Intro to Spanish" will have a test on the activities vocabulary list. In Spanish, you should be able to ask the question "What do you like to do?" and answer what you like and don't like to do. You should also know the meaning of each of the activities on the list. Please see the files for a vocabulary list.

Speech for Introduction to Spanish (6th & 7th Grades)
Students in the one semeter "Introduction to Spanish" classes are preparing speeches to describe themselves in Spanish. In place of notes, students will use props to help them remember what to say about themselves next. Please see the files for a list of what should be included in the speech. The speech will count as a test grade worth 25 points.

Salsa Club Meeting - 3/17/10
Salsa Club will meet again this Wednesday (March 17th) in Mrs. Dennis's room (164). Don't forget to bring something to drink and a healthy snack.

Colors Project - Intro. to Spanish
Students in the one semester, "Introduction to Spanish" course, were assigned a colors project today. This project will count as one test grade for 20 points. In order to receive all points, students must create a picture with 10 different colors. All colors should be labeled in Spanish and spelled correctly. Of course, the project should be neat, creative, and easy to read. Consult the files for a list of the vocabulary.

Intro to Spanish - Test
Students in the one semester "Intro to Spanish" class will have a test on numbers 0-20. You should be able to write the correct number when you hear it or translate the number to English when you see it written down. You should also know your math symbols so that you can do simple math problems in Spanish.

Students in "Beginning Spanish" (Per. 6B only) will have a test on Capítulo 2 on Thursday, March 4th. To prepare, review all vocabulary from both Capítulo 2A and 2B and all grammar notes or the "Gramática" boxes in the textbook. The test will include both a written and listening/comprehension section.
Also, the worksheets for Capítulo 2 should be completed and turned in by Thursday.
