8th Grade Spanish - el 30/31 de agosto

HW: Reminder to have your menu project ready to turn in. Be sure to follow all instructions on the assignment sheet/rubric and turn it in with your project. A copy of the assignment can be found in the files.

Per. 1A: Project due on Thursday, September 1st
Per. 6B: Project due on Friday, September 2nd

8th Grade Spanish - el 26/29 de agosto

HW: Prepare for the tests on "I Can" Tasks 1 & 2. Know your alphabet so that you will be able to write down words I spell for you using the Spanish alphabet. Review rules for pronunciation so you can say a list of 20 words in Spanish correctly. For additional help on pronunciation, check the files for a "Pronunciation Key."
Test Date: Tuesday, August 30th/31st

6th Grade Spanish - August 25th - Upcoming Test

HW: Prepare for your alphabet test on Wednesday, August 31st. You will be required to look at the letters of the Spanish alphabet and say each letter for Señora Dennis. You will also be asked in Spanish "What is your name?" (¿Cómo te llamas?)and you should be able to answer in Spanish (Me llamo _________).

7th Grade Spanish - Wednesday, August 24th

HW: Study your alphabet and the vowels poem. Use the El Alfabeto link on the left of this page to help you practice.

8th Grade Spanish - el 24/25 de agosto

HW: Download the vocabulary and grammar files for 7th Grade Spanish and put these in the appropriate sections of your notebook. As an alternative, you may organize your vocabulary sheets and notes from last year and use those in each section of your notebook for reference.

Review the Spanish alphabet to prepare for tests on the first two "I Can" Skills on your checklist. Test Date: Tuesday, August 30th/31st

For those who want to start putting together your supplies for the upcoming school year, here is a list of items you will need for class.

*3 ring binder (1 inch) with 5 tab dividers
*1 pack 3 x 5 index cards (white or any color)
*lined, loose leaf paper
*pencils or pens (blue or black ink)


6th Graders only: You may substitute a smaller folder ( 1/2 inch - 3 ring binder OR 2 pocket folder with center prongs (plastic or paper) OR pocket expanding file.

P.S. Donations of kleenex, wipes, hand sanitizer, and zipper-style sandwich bags (to hold vocabulary flashcards) are always much appreciated!
