HW:  Write translation (English) for sentences on Tarea - 1A-1 and complete Tarea 1A-2.  Keep studying the activities vocabulary.

HW:  Complete the www.conjuguemos activity to practice describing where classroom items are located.

Storybook Project - due Monday, October 29th...Keep working!

(Project description:  minimum of 10 pages, in grammatical Spanish, using vocabulary from  "Episodios" or "Realidades" thru Capítulo 3B ONLY.  Unauthorized vocabulary is NOT acceptable and will be cause for failure.  Story must include a setting with day, date, season, time, and weather, an introduction of a character, and a problem and solution to that problem.

HW:  Tarea 1A-1 (Write the word in the blank from your new vocabulary list that matches the picture of the activity shown.)

We have started a new quarter.  This is a great time to get your notebook organized.  Take out any papers from other subjects.  Add blank lined paper, if needed. Get some new pens or pencils.

8th Grade Spanish - el 18 de octubre

HW:  Review -ar verbs for next skills test.  A good place to review is the www.phschool.com website.  Type in the code jcd-0099.  Then click on "Animated Verbs."

Also, prepare a rough draft in English outlining your plan for your storybook.  On Monday, I will ask you to give me the problem/conflict for your character(s) and the solution.

HW:  Prepare for skills test #17 (using correct pronouns).  Visit activity on www.conjuguemos.com to practice.  Also, think about idea for your storybook...What problem does the main character have? What character flaw does the main character need to overcome?

HW:  Reminder to complete assigned www.conjuguemos.com activities by October 19th.

All Tarea and WAVA activities for Para Empezar should be completed, corrected, organized and ready to turn in on test day at the beginning of the class.  (Tarea = P-1 to P-11 /  WAVA = Act. 1 to Act. 8)
