         Complete the menu project.  See below for complete instructions. Everything should be written in Spanish.   Those who are attending the college field trip will  be required to complete this project  by February 7th.

HW:  Start working on your introduction speech.  Remember you must use vocabulary and grammatical structures you have already learned in class so that everyone can understand your speech.  All speeches must be presented by January 31st.

Task:  You will present a speech introducing yourself to the class in Spanish without the use of notes.  In place of notes, you will use pictures, props or costumes.

HW:  Review all vocabulary to prepare for Chapter 4B test:
A- Day - Wed. (1/15)    B-Day Thurs. (1/16)
 

Make sure that the Tarea (4B-1 thru 4B-8) is completed and corrected and WAVA Act. 1 thru Act. 12 is completed.  All worksheets should be in order and ready to turn in before the test.

Also, make sure you know how to conjugate the verb "jugar" and know how to say someone plays various sports.  You should also be able to invite someone to do various activities, decline invitations,  give reasons why someone can or cannot go somewhere and give times for the activities.

HW:  Study for Chapter 1A/1B test - Review all vocabulary and notes and make sure that you have completed and corrected all of your Tarea and WAVA for Capitulo 1B (except WAVA Act. 13) and that it is ready to turn in before taking the test.

8th Grade Spanish - el 7 de enero

HW:  Review for the  CGA/Final Exam for 8th Grade Spanish.  This test score counts as 20% of the final semester grade. Complete your review packet and also review your old skills tests, vocab sheets, and notes.  The conjuguemos.com website or phschool.com websites also have useful review tools.

End of Quarter Reminders

All students should take a look at the grade portal.  Any student with a current grade of D or F should attend the final tutoring / make-up work session for this quarter on Monday, January 6th, after school.
