HW: 

Create a chart beginning on Monday, October 20^th and ending on Sunday, October 26^th.  Write the day of the week and the date in Spanish at the top of each column.

On the left side, write the time of day in numbers (for example, 8:00 a.m.).  Then write the name of the program you will watch at that time or you would like to be able to watch under the correct date.  You should list at least 10 programs.  If you watch a program you record or using the internet, then write the name in the time slot when you plan to watch it.  If you never watch tv but play a videogame, write that name in a time slot.  The purpose is to practice Spanish, so it doesn't have to be 100 % accurate!!!

For help, there is a sample under the 7th Grade Files on the JLCP Blog website.  The chart will be used for a practice activity in class.

HW:  Prepare newscasts.  Make sure you have your hand-written script ready to turn in with your lines highlighted.  Memorize and practice saying your lines.  Remember to bring any props or costume to play your part.

"MUCHAS GRACIAS" to all the parents and students for the wonderful contributions to our fiestas!  Everyone went above and beyond to offer the students a sampling of a variety of foods, drinks and desserts.  Everyone deserves a big "¡Olé!"

HW:  Prepare for the test to write a summary of the 10 Episodios (story about Felipe and Maria.)  You can re-read the story.  Files are posted on the JLCP Spanish website.  You can also practice the vocabulary using the www.conjuguemos.com website.

7th Grade Spanish - 2nd Chance for HW

Students will have until Tuesday, October 14th to complete the HW activity on telling time since many students were confused about how to put in the upside down question mark.

Directions:  Type in a a regular question mark, then click on the "Add Accent" button and the question mark will turn upside down.
                    To add a letter with an accent mark, type the letter, then click on the "Add Accent" button and the accent will appear over the letter.

7th Grade Spanish - el 1 de octubre

HW:  Complete the www.conjuguemos.com activity on colors.  Make sure you do a minimum of 20 questions and have a score of at least 90% before you send me the scores.

Review for your test on colors, numbers 0-100 and parts of the body.  Make sure you know whether the part of the body uses "el" or "la" in front of the word.

A Day - Test on Monday, October 6
B Day - Test on Tuesday, October 7

8th Grade Spanish - el 1 de octubre

HW:  Complete the www.conjuguemos.com activity for Capítulo 1B to prepare for the skills test on describing personalities.  Make sure you know how to use "yo soy," "tú eres," "él es" and "ella es" as needed plus the appropriate gender (masculine or feminine) for the word.  Complete at least 20 questions with a score of 90% or above and then send me the score.
