Oral Quiz on Wednesday - 3/25

Be sure to review numbers vocabulary so that you are able to recite your numbers by ten's from memory with correct pronunciation (diez, veinte, treinta, cuarenta, cincuenta, sesenta, setenta, ochenta, noventa, cien).

If you need help with pronunciation, there are a number of excellent websites with sound files. Just google "Spanish numbers" and pick one you like.

New Vocabulary to Describe the Classroom

We've added a new list of vocabulary to describe things you find in a typical classroom. Please see the files to check that your notes are correct and start studying. Flashcards with Spanish on one side and English on the other are always a great way to start. Even better, find a picture of the object instead of writing it out in English.

To give us some materials for conversation about the classroom, students were asked to create an "ideal classroom" drawing. Hmm, I wonder what that will look like.....big screen tv's? .....a computer at every desk?.....a teacher for every student?....no teachers??? ¡Ay, chihuahua!
